Key Responsibilities
* Deliver well-planned English language and literature lessons for students in Grades 5 to 10.
* Build student confidence in reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar usage, vocabulary, oral communication, and analytical thinking.
* Create engaging classroom activities that encourage discussion, independent learning, curiosity, and appreciation for literature.
* Use contemporary teaching methods to support different learning abilities and improve student participation.
* Design assessments, review student performance, and use learning data to improve lesson planning and academic outcomes.
* Integrate educational technology, digital tools, and interactive resources to make English learning more effective.
* Support students in developing presentation skills, public speaking ability, debating confidence, and written expression.
* Encourage participation in reading programmes, creative writing projects, elocution activities, literary clubs, and language enrichment events.
* Maintain strong classroom management while creating a respectful, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
* Provide clear feedback to students and guide them toward measurable improvement in English language skills.
* Work with colleagues to strengthen literacy standards across subjects and contribute to school-wide language initiatives.
* Communicate professionally with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership when supporting student progress.

Ideal Profile
* Regular Bachelor\'s Degree in English is required.
* B.Ed. in English is required.
* 3 to 5 years of successful teaching experience in Grades 5 to 10.
* Excellent spoken and written English with strong grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills.
* Strong understanding of language acquisition, literacy development, English teaching methodology, and literature-based learning.
* Ability to design creative, student-centered lessons that promote reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking.
* Experience in preparing assessments and using performance data to improve student learning outcomes.
* Confidence in using educational technology and innovative classroom strategies.
* Excellent classroom management skills with a calm, professional, and encouraging teaching style.
