Key Responsibilities
* Participate in a structured teacher training pathway across Deira International School or Universal American School.
* Complete fully funded Postgraduate Certificate in Education coursework through the University of Birmingham.
* Observe experienced teachers and gradually develop practical classroom management, lesson delivery, and student engagement skills.
* Support classroom learning by assisting teachers with activities, resources, student guidance, and learning routines.
* Co-teach alongside experienced educators to build confidence in planning, instruction, questioning, and learner support.
* Take on increasing teaching responsibilities as skills develop, including lesson planning, lesson delivery, and assessment preparation.
* Support students during classroom activities, group work, transitions, and wider school learning experiences.
* Track student progress under teacher guidance and contribute to learning feedback, assessment notes, and classroom records.
* Communicate with parents when appropriate and under school guidance regarding student progress, learning support, and classroom development.
* Attend mentoring sessions, performance reviews, team meetings, and professional development activities.
* Reflect on teaching practice, receive feedback, and apply improvement actions to strengthen classroom performance.
