Key Responsibilities
* Teach travel and tourism lessons according to British Curriculum requirements and school academic expectations.
* Prepare lesson plans that explain tourism concepts, travel operations, destination knowledge, hospitality services, and customer experience.
* Create an interactive classroom environment that encourages discussion, research, presentations, and practical learning.
* Support students in developing subject knowledge related to tourism products, travel planning, transport, accommodation, visitor attractions, and global tourism trends.
* Assess student progress through assignments, class activities, tests, projects, and regular feedback.
* Maintain classroom discipline through clear instructions, structured learning routines, and positive student engagement.
* Use real-world examples, case studies, maps, digital resources, and tourism-related scenarios to make lessons practical and relevant.
* Help students build communication, research, analytical thinking, and presentation skills linked to travel and tourism studies.
* Keep accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, assessments, and student performance.
* Work with the academic team to support curriculum delivery, school events, and student development activities.
* Communicate professionally with students, parents, and colleagues when required.
* Support a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning atmosphere across the school.
Ideal Profile
* Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
* 1-2 years of teaching experience in a British Curriculum school.
* Strong subject knowledge in travel, tourism, hospitality, geography, business, or a related academic area.
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for school-level learners.
* Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
* Clear communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
