Job Overview
As an AI & Data Science Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of advanced analytics and GenAI solutions that transform tax and legal advisory services. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into intelligent solutions that blend cutting-edge data science with deep domain expertise in compliance, reporting, and client insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and execution of GenAI and machine learning initiatives within tax and legal domains
* Develop AI-driven applications and data pipelines using Python, R, and other statistical tools
* Collaborate with Directors and the Head of AI for Tax and Legal to craft tailored data strategies
* Translate regulatory or legal challenges into scalable AI solutions aligned with business goals
* Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions with technical feasibility
* Support risk testing, data privacy compliance, and ethical AI implementation practices
* Visualize complex data models and insights using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
* Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for scalable data storage, modeling, and deployment
Job Requirements
Education:
* Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related field
Experience:
* At least 5 years of experience in data science or AI, with hands-on experience in generative AI, NLP, and ML models
* Strong consulting background, preferably within a Big Four or multinational professional services firm
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Python, R, or equivalent languages for model building and deployment
* Experience with AI tools and frameworks for NLP and GenAI (e.g., transformers, LLMs)
* Proficiency in data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
* Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Certifications (Preferred):
* Certified in data science, GenAI, or machine learning tools and platforms
Soft Skills:
* Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
* Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex analytics to non-technical audiences
* Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects and collaborate across business units
