Job Overview
As a Manager in Audit & Assurance, you will lead audit engagements, oversee documentation and compliance, and act as a trusted advisor to clients across multiple sectors. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality audits, managing audit teams, and ensuring alignment with Deloitte’s global audit methodology and ethical frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations
* Assess internal control environments and review documentation of transactions and controls
* Recommend mitigating tests and identify risks related to fraud or reporting inconsistencies
* Coordinate with component auditors and review group engagement files and instructions
* Communicate audit timelines, dependencies, and expectations to engagement teams and client management
* Ensure that all audit documentation meets quality standards and regulatory requirements
* Identify opportunities to integrate specialists and expand Deloitte\'s value proposition to clients
* Monitor audit file progress, ensure timely resolution of review points, and support staff scheduling
* Promote ethical conduct, independence, and consistent application of auditing standards
Job Requirements
Education:
* Degree in Accounting or a related field
Certifications:
* International accounting qualification required: CA, ACCA, or CPA
Experience:
* Minimum 6 years of experience in audit and assurance, ideally with a Big Four firm
* Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and best-practice reporting
* Proven leadership in audit file review, documentation quality, and team coordination
Skills:
* Strong professional skepticism and risk-based audit mindset
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Preference given to bilingual candidates fluent in Arabic and English
* Ability to manage deadlines, stakeholder expectations, and audit complexity
* Strong coaching skills and the ability to mentor junior team members
