The Audit Manager – Audit and Assurance at Deloitte Dubai plays a pivotal role in driving high-quality audit engagements across multiple industries. As part of one of the world’s leading professional services firms, the Audit Manager ensures accuracy, integrity, and compliance in financial reporting while leading a collaborative team that delivers value-driven insights to clients.
What You’ll Do
* Plan, manage, and execute audit engagements in alignment with Deloitte’s standards and client requirements.
* Review prior year financial statements and documentation to understand key statistics, industry issues, and engagement history.
* Coordinate with internal specialists and management to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and audit deliverables.
* Ensure all audit work is conducted with appropriate professional skepticism, documentation quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Review working papers and sign off appropriately after verifying that procedures, checklists, and professional conclusions are complete.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, identify audit priorities, and ensure effective contingency measures when client deadlines shift.
* Encourage and guide team members to apply a questioning mindset and maintain professional objectivity throughout the audit process.
* Provide technical briefings and mentoring to ensure team members have the necessary industry and technical knowledge.
* Maintain independence and objectivity documentation while ensuring ethical conduct in every engagement.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 6 years of experience in auditing within professional services firms or large multinational organizations.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
* Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent is required.
* Proven success in managing complex engagements and leading audit teams.
* Experience in auditing clients from the real estate or similar sectors preferred.
* Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across levels.
* Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
