Job Overview
As an IT Audit Experienced Associate, you will support audit teams in planning, executing, and reporting IT audit procedures that contribute to the financial audit process. You’ll focus on assessing IT controls, performing risk assessments, and helping ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform IT audit fieldwork, including risk assessments, testing of application and general IT controls, and system-generated reports
* Collaborate with financial audit teams to identify IT audit scopes and objectives
* Analyze business processes and systems to identify control weaknesses and audit risks
* Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations in client-ready reports
* Prepare and communicate audit plans, budgets, and timelines to audit managers
* Evaluate IT-related risks and propose practical mitigation measures
* Maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders and Deloitte engagement teams
* Support testing and validation of automated controls, interface controls, and compensating controls
* Stay updated on evolving technologies and cybersecurity frameworks relevant to audit functions
Job Requirements
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Computing
Certifications (Preferred):
* CISA certification or similar audit/IT credential is an advantage
Experience:
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT external or internal audit, ideally within the Financial Services Industry
* Hands-on experience testing general IT controls (GITCs), application controls, and audit analytics
Skills:
* Strong understanding of business processes and automated control environments
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with data analysis tools is a plus
* Ability to plan, execute, and document audit engagements with minimal supervision
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Passion for delivering high-quality audit outcomes and meeting deadlines under pressure
