What Does a Q.C. Engineer – Automation Do?
As a Quality Automation Engineer at Deloitte, you will play a vital role in designing and executing test automation frameworks to support scalable and secure solutions for global clients. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality and continuous improvement in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Build, design, and execute test automation scripts for web applications
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using C#
- Integrate test automation with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test coverage and automate key scenarios
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and documenting solutions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, scripts, and frameworks
- Conduct manual testing as required and support quality control initiatives
- Participate in Scrum or SAFe Agile processes to deliver incremental features
- Support continuous improvement through testing best practices and feedback loops
What Skills Are Needed for a QA Automation Role in Mumbai?
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in automation testing
- Expertise in C# programming and test automation frameworks
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and testing tools like Postman
- Hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Proficiency with Git version control systems
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint-based deliveries
