Role Context
This graduate trainee position supports the daily procurement activities required to keep projects and business operations
Through the Tameer Program, the trainee will gain direct exposure to procurement workflows, supply chain controls, data-driven reporting, and process improvement. Accurate records and timely coordination in this role will help improve purchasing visibility, supplier responsiveness, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Support routine procurement and supply chain activities under the guidance of experienced team members.
* Assist in preparing purchase requests, procurement forms, reports, and supporting documentation.
* Maintain organized purchasing records and verify that procurement data is complete and accurate.
* Update procurement trackers, status reports, supplier records, and internal databases.
* Analyze procurement data and develop dashboards using Power BI.
* Use Microsoft Excel to organize information, review purchasing activity, and prepare operational reports.
* Coordinate with internal departments to obtain specifications, approvals, delivery information, and required documentation.
* Communicate with suppliers regarding requests, document submissions, order status, and other procurement matters.
* Help track purchase requests and ensure pending actions are followed up with the relevant stakeholders.
* Support the preparation of management reports covering procurement activity, performance, and outstanding items.
* Identify data inconsistencies and work with team members to correct procurement records.
* Contribute ideas that improve reporting quality, administrative efficiency, and procurement processes.
* Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned purchasing activities.
* Learn and apply company procurement procedures, approval requirements, and professional conduct standards.
* Complete assigned tasks accurately while meeting agreed timelines.
Ideal Profile
Applicants should hold a bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline and have no more than one year of professional experience. The position is suitable for recent graduates with academic projects, internships, or practical exposure to procurement, logistics, purchasing, or supply chain reporting.
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge or hands-on experience with Power BI dashboards and reporting. Good Microsoft Excel skills are also required, together with confidence working with structured data and business documentation.
