Role Summary
Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment is hiring an Animal Care Specialist for Snow Dome. The role involves animal husbandry, training, exhibit upkeep, diet preparation, and supporting educational programs. This position ensures animal welfare while maintaining high standards of care and guest engagement.

Salary: 8000-12000 monthly (Market estimated)
Job Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain all aspects of animal habitats, including air and water quality
* Participate in animal encounters and educational guest programs
* Present animals interactively and in an educational manner
* Observe and report signs of stress or illness in animals
* Record all data professionally using the designated database
* Maintain animal areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety, including scuba diving for exhibit maintenance
* Work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Zoology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum 2 years of animal training experience, ideally with marine species
* Previous work in zoo or aquarium operations (feeding, exhibit upkeep, guest experiences)
* Familiarity with AZA zoo and aquarium standards
* Open Water Dive Certification is mandatory
* Knowledge of training techniques and welfare measures
