Key Responsibilities
* Contact prospective owners and eligible guests by telephone to introduce vacation club preview opportunities.
* Encourage guests and callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales tours.
* Explain the purpose, requirements, conditions, and expected duration of vacation ownership presentations.
* Confirm that prospective participants meet eligibility requirements before arranging a property tour.
* Use appropriate sales techniques to increase qualified bookings and support revenue objectives.
* Maintain existing guest loyalty by communicating respectfully and avoiding high-pressure sales practices.
* Promote Marriott\'s brand image consistently during internal and external interactions.
* Select and issue authorized complimentary rewards, points, tickets, or other guest incentives.
* Record scheduled tours, customer details, messages, eligibility information, and follow-up actions accurately.
* Answer incoming telephone calls using professional hospitality etiquette.
* Receive and relay messages clearly, completely, and promptly.
* Support Sales and Marketing administration through filing, email correspondence, typing, document preparation, and record management.
* Welcome and acknowledge guests according to established company service standards.
* Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to questions, concerns, or service requests.
* Assist management with employee training, coaching, counselling, motivation, and performance feedback when requested.
* Act as a positive workplace role model and support fair treatment and open communication procedures.
* Review written documents for accuracy, clarity, and completeness before distribution.
* Build constructive working relationships with colleagues and contribute to shared departmental targets.
* Follow company policies related to confidentiality, guest privacy, workplace safety, quality, and professional conduct.
* Maintain a clean uniform and professional personal appearance during every shift.
* Handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance when operationally required.
* Complete other reasonable assignments given by supervisors.
Ideal Profile
* High school diploma, G.E.D., or an equivalent secondary education qualification.
* At least 1 year of experience in telesales, hospitality sales, telemarketing, customer service, vacation ownership, or a related position.
* Previous supervisory experience is not required.
* No license or professional certification is required.
* Confident telephone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Clear understanding of customer qualification, tour scheduling, and sales follow-up processes.
* Ability to explain participation requirements and promotional incentives accurately.
* Strong listening skills and the judgment to respond appropriately to customer questions or objections.
* Detail-oriented approach to contact records, guest information, messages, and scheduled appointments.
* Professional written and spoken communication skills.
* Comfortable using telephone systems, email, office software, and customer records.
* Able to protect confidential guest, employee, and business information.
