Job Overview
The Category Lead – Fit Out and Facilities Management plays a key role in driving cost efficiency and procurement excellence across Majid Al Futtaim’s businesses. The role is responsible for developing category strategies, leading sourcing activities, and managing vendor relationships in alignment with the company’s procurement framework. If you have experience managing large-scale sourcing operations and strong negotiation skills, this role offers a rewarding challenge in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop strategic procurement plans and annual budgets for fit-out and FM categories
* Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for new projects and ongoing services
* Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and standardization to reduce costs
* Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers while ensuring compliance with legal and internal standards
* Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) to guide strategic procurement decisions
* Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment across projects
* Track and report procurement KPIs, savings, and compliance to management
* Manage supplier performance and market trends to continuously improve procurement processes
* Utilize E-sourcing tools such as Oracle, Ariba, or Coupa for sourcing and vendor management

Job Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management, particularly in fit-out and FM
* Experience in large procurement setups and shared services environments
* Strong contract management, legal compliance, and risk mitigation understanding
* Skilled in spend analysis, vendor negotiation, and project delivery
* Proficiency in E-sourcing platforms (Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
* Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field
