Key Responsibilities
* Implement sourcing strategies to maintain desired stock levels and reduce shortages or overstocking.
* Analyze inventory data and create control strategies for improved efficiency.
* Source high-quality products at competitive prices aligned with company objectives.
* Identify and engage profitable suppliers, developing long-term partnerships.
* Prepare cost analysis reports and benchmark sourcing functions when required.
* Communicate with suppliers on quality issues and suggest areas for improvement.
* Develop and present reports on functional metrics to enhance performance and reduce costs.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity of product specifications and expectations.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or category management within FMCG or retail sectors.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability in vendor relationship management and cost optimization.
* Analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills.
