Role Summary
Majid Al Futtaim is hiring a Category Manager – Technology to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple operating companies, ensuring alignment with technology roadmaps and delivering cost optimization, innovation, and supplier performance. The role also serves as a leadership continuity point during the absence of the Category Lead.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and internal policies
* Manage procurement activities for technology projects, ensuring timely execution
* Lead a procurement team, track workflows, and resolve operational issues
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
* Conduct market and supplier analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
* Negotiate supplier contracts and commercial terms
* Oversee supplier onboarding, evaluation, and performance management
* Provide regular reporting on procurement strategies, risks, and results
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline; professional procurement certification (e.g., MCIPS)
* 7–9 years of experience in procurement or category management, including 2+ years in technology sourcing leadership roles
* Strong knowledge of technology services, software licensing, cloud platforms, and digital solutions procurement
* Excellent negotiation, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
