Position Overview
Azizi Developments, a prominent Dubai-based real estate developer, is seeking a skilled Cost Control Engineer to manage and monitor the financial performance of high-value development projects. This role involves overseeing project budgets, tracking expenses, preparing cost forecasts, and ensuring timely reporting to maintain profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and control all project commitments against approved budgets.
* Verify purchase and hire requests for materials, equipment, and subcontractor work packages.
* Compare actual labor, staff, and equipment deployment against budgeted figures monthly, highlighting any variances.
* Analyze resource histograms and prepare accurate Cost to Complete (CTC) forecasts, identifying potential overruns early.
* Ensure correct implementation of cost control procedures at all stages, including SIV, MRV, and TV documentation.
* Track material consumption and maintain requisition follow-up logs.
* Prepare and submit detailed monthly cost analysis reports as per company standards.
* Conduct cost studies and case analyses as required.
* Support project managers and the cost control manager in preparing CTC reports for ongoing projects.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost control within construction or real estate projects.
* Proficiency in MS Project, ERP systems, and Power BI is highly desirable.
* Skilled in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
