As Deputy Chief Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for directing procurement strategies and leading high-value negotiations with suppliers and contractors. Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and optimize procurement strategies that support cost savings and operational efficiency
* Manage procurement packages and ensure timely sourcing of materials and services aligned with project timelines
* Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to regulatory and ESG standards
* Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to define procurement needs and priorities
* Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, UAE procurement laws, and industry best practices
* Establish supplier evaluation criteria and manage vendor relationships for long-term success
* Oversee procurement planning, risk assessment, and value engineering strategies
* Mentor and lead a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
* Drive digitalization and automation in procurement operations for improved transparency and efficiency
Job Requirements
* Bachelor\'s or Master’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
* CIPS or equivalent procurement certification is preferred
* Minimum 12 years of procurement experience in real estate and construction, including 5+ years in a leadership role
* In-depth understanding of the UAE real estate sector, procurement regulations, and government workflows
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills
* Proven ability to manage large-scale procurement operations and cross-functional teams
