What Does a Design Architect Do at Azizi?
A Design Architect at Azizi leads concept and schematic design development across a wide range of premium real estate projects. You will drive creative vision, integrate automation into workflows, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure that every design aligns with the brand’s development standards.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead the design process from feasibility and pre-concept to schematic and marketing kits
- Use AI tools for concept generation and automation in design workflows
- Collaborate with external consultants, architects, and in-house teams to refine and execute designs
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international codes, submission requirements, and design standards
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams for project execution
- Lead internal meetings and offer design solutions to meet project goals
- Incorporate Safety in Design principles and maintain traceable design decision records
- Conduct presentations, design reviews, and client workshops
- Explore and apply innovative materials and sustainable construction methods
What Skills Are Needed for a Design Architect Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in architectural design, particularly in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors
- Proven ability to lead design for masterplans, luxury mixed-use complexes, and large-scale real estate assets
Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong conceptual design and visualization abilities
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and regional construction methods
