Document Controller - Assistant Information Manager Job Vacancy in Europe
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Mace’s construct business as a Document Controller / Assistant Information Manager on large-scale, high-impact projects in London. You will be responsible for delivering efficient information management and ensuring compliance with established standards, including ISO 19650, contributing to the overall success of client projects and programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow and implement information management (IM) processes effectively, ensuring compliance with standards, including ISO 19650
- Support the project IM function to ensure project teams can access the information they need efficiently
- Guide project teams on IM practices, providing support and training as necessary
- Oversee the quality control and assurance of documents and artefacts submitted and stored
- Contribute to the setup, implementation, and development of the Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Collaborate with Mace’s global digital centre of excellence, contributing to knowledge sharing and process improvement
- Coordinate activities to ensure successful project delivery, including performance management and team development
- Work collaboratively towards net zero carbon transition by identifying and managing associated carbon emissions during project delivery
Required Qualifications
- Some experience in information management on projects and programmes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with different stakeholders
- Highly disciplined, methodical, and well-organized
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction, property, or real estate industry
- Awareness of security, cyber security, and data protection regulations
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 series, UK BIM Framework, and CDE management
- Technical qualifications such as APM IM, Association of Information Managers, or equivalent
- Expertise in key IM software such as Aconex, ViewPoint, and Business Collaborator
- ISO 19650 certification or equivalent
