This role involves overseeing and inspecting electrical installations across large-scale construction projects, ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Job Overview
As an Electrical Inspector, you will play a key role in monitoring and supervising electrical works on-site, ensuring that all installations adhere to approved shop drawings, material specifications, and safety regulations. Reporting directly to the MEP Manager, you will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to maintain the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems, including wiring, power distribution, and lighting, ensuring compliance with NEC codes and project specifications.
- Review electrical plans and specifications to confirm alignment with regulatory standards and project requirements.
- Identify non-compliance issues, safety concerns, and deficiencies, and work with teams to recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical subcontractors and field personnel, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with project timelines.
- Oversee electrical installations, ensuring that quality standards are met, and work remains within budget.
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols, including PPE requirements and safe work practices.
- Serve as a technical point of contact between site teams, project managers, engineers, and clients, providing expert guidance as needed.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth workflow and timely project completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in electrical inspection and site supervision, with at least 4 years in a consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and installation practices.
- Experience with large-scale construction projects related to electrical installations.
- Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and reporting systems.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise electrical teams on-site.
- Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
