What Does a Master Planner Do at Azizi?
As a Master Planner, you will take ownership of all master planning activities, from vision to detailed planning, while managing internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory coordination. You’ll ensure all plans reflect Azizi’s development goals, market trends, sustainability benchmarks, and quality standards.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead the creation of visionary, sustainable, and functional master plans for landmark developments
- Oversee the planning of landscapes, public realms, waste management, wayfinding, and related infrastructure
- Manage external consultants, review deliverables, and ensure quality and timely submissions
- Approve master plan changes and oversee internal change management processes
- Develop and manage RFPs, evaluate proposals, and handle contract negotiations
- Coordinate with departments including sales, marketing, infrastructure, and execution teams
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and project milestones across all planning activities
- Align master plans with the company’s development objectives, regulatory guidelines, and urban planning best practices
- Act as the liaison between the planning department and on-site implementation teams
- Provide strategic feedback to improve design functionality, feasibility, and aesthetics
- Build strong relationships with government bodies, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities
What Qualifications Are Required for a Master Planner Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field
- Master’s degree in Urban Design, City Planning, or related discipline preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years in master planning, including senior-level or client-side roles
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, mixed-use, or waterfront developments
- Deep knowledge of regional planning guidelines, feasibility analysis, and infrastructure integration
Skills:
