Mechanical Site Engineer
Job Overview:
Azizi Developments is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to oversee and inspect mechanical construction activities across our prestigious projects in Dubai. The role involves ensuring that all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, building codes, and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical site execution, quality control, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and inspect mechanical construction works to ensure they align with approved shop drawings, specifications, and project guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections to verify the structural integrity and compliance of mechanical activities with local and international standards
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to keep construction activities on schedule
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth execution and integration of mechanical works on-site
- Oversee the organization and deployment of construction equipment, materials, and workforce to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations across all mechanical site activities
- Review and recommend actions on inspection requests while maintaining updated logs of all inspections
- Conduct quality assessments of piling works, post-tension suspended slabs, precast walls, and structural steel works
- Provide technical support and recommendations to improve mechanical site execution processes
- Report to senior management on site progress, issues, and proposed solutions for seamless project completion
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or a relevant diploma
- Minimum 5 years of site experience for degree holders, 10+ years for diploma holders in mechanical construction
- Strong knowledge of mechanical site execution, quality control, and compliance with safety regulations
- Experience with piling works, post-tension slabs, precast walls, and structural steel inspections
- Excellent understanding of structural analysis and mechanical system integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage on-site challenges effectively
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
