This role requires expertise in handling MEP quantity take-offs, cost monitoring, subcontractor billing, and close coordination with project teams to ensure budget compliance across all MEP services.

Job Overview
The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the end-to-end management of quantity surveying works for HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical, ELV, and LPG systems. The role involves budget monitoring, quantity take-offs, and validation of subcontractor invoices.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform accurate quantity take-offs for all MEP trades including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical, ELV, and LPG
* Prepare bills of quantities system-wise and building-wise using MS Office and preferred QS tools
* Submit monthly payment certificates for MEP services and verify subcontractor invoices
* Monitor weekly records of materials, labor, and related costs against project budget
* Notify Project Manager of cost overruns and assist in budget control
* Maintain records for all payments, orders, and expenses related to MEP scope
* Understand and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
* Coordinate with project engineers for on-site validation and reporting
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* 10-12 years of UAE experience in construction and electromechanical industries
* Strong understanding of MEP systems, drawings, and QS best practices
* Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with quantity take-off software
* Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and budget tracking skills
