Job Overview
The Payment Officer will coordinate with internal departments and external government portals to ensure all authority-related payments are processed promptly and in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, managing payment portals, and maintaining logs of submissions and approvals. This position plays a vital role in supporting the financial and operational efficiency of our large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Process payments to UAE authorities via approved platforms such as Dubai Pay, Abu Dhabi Pay, and e-Dirham
* Coordinate with Authority and QS teams to obtain required documentation and certifications
* Maintain accurate payment logs, including submission and approval records
* Ensure all invoices, contracts, and purchase orders are verified for accuracy and compliance
* Prepare payment vouchers, bank transfer requests, and checks as needed
* Liaise with the finance team to ensure timely disbursement and reporting of payments
* Update records on newly introduced payment platforms or regulatory changes
* Report payment status to the Commercial Manager or Payment Control Manager
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
* 3–5 years’ experience in construction, consultancy, or JAFZA-related industries
* Proficient in payment processing platforms and financial documentation
* Strong understanding of UAE regulatory procedures and authority approvals
* Certificate holder in English-Arabic translation with the ability to read/write Arabic
* Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
* High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects
