Job Overview:
Azizi Developments is seeking a skilled Planning Engineer specializing in infrastructure projects to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, progress tracking, risk analysis, and resource optimization to ensure timely and efficient execution of infrastructure construction projects. The role requires expertise in Primavera P6, project management principles, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling tools
- Define project scope, work breakdown structure (WBS), key milestones, and resource allocation strategies
- Track project progress against baseline schedules and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly status reports
- Analyze delays, identify bottlenecks, and propose corrective measures to keep projects on schedule
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential project delays
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment
- Attend progress meetings and provide updates on scheduling performance and project milestones
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material deliveries and resource allocation
- Identify risks related to project timelines, scope variations, and site conditions, and develop mitigation strategies
- Assist in project budgeting and cost control by linking schedules with financial plans for resource optimization
- Maintain accurate documentation of project schedules, updates, and reports to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Support in claims preparation, including time extension requests (EOT) and impact assessments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3-10 years of experience in planning and scheduling infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of project management principles, construction methodologies, and contract management
- Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claims management is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
