The Security System Engineer works under the supervision of a project manager and the Operations Head. The assigned person carries out project activities as outlined, leading the implementation team in delivering site supervision for pre-defined designs encompassing IT, ELV, and AV infrastructure projects. This role involves assisting the project manager and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver multiple projects until handover. The Security System Engineer focuses on implementing previously designed systems at customer locations, under the direction of the Project Manager, based on the contract.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic and detailed implementation of ELV projects at customer locations.
- Plan work and efficiently organize site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including supervising and monitoring internal and outsourced site workforce.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, planners, QS, consultants, authorities, and other departments to ensure timely and integrated project execution.
- Review, provide input, and manage project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including correspondences, submittals, drawings, method statements, inspection documentation, and O&M manuals.
- Validate and check design plans, drawings, quantities, and calculations for accuracy and compatibility during construction.
- Participate in design review meetings and workshops, providing input and coordinating change management.
- Guide designers and draftsmen in preparing shop drawings, cable routing plans, installation drawings, wiring drawings, and cable schedules.
- Act as a technical adviser, providing guidance to installation and commissioning teams, subcontractors, and operatives.
- Ensure implementation complies with drawings, specifications, and quality standards, adhering to corporate and project quality and H&S management systems.
- Manage inventory and liaise with relevant teams for material delivery to the site.
- Supervise testing and commissioning activities.
- Generate variations and new requirements at the project site, coordinating with the sales and presales departments for proposal submissions.
- Report site progress and encountered problems to the line manager for assistance and guidance.
- Assist in the estimation, preparation, and submission of project claims.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field (IT, Communication, Electricals, Engineering, or similar).
- Proficiency in using MS Office.
- UAE Driving License.
- Security system certifications.
- SIRA Certification.
- Hanwha Techwin CCTV and ACS configuration knowledge.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in ELV project implementation, including structured cabling, ICT, ELV, security, and AV systems.
- Hands-on experience in installation, construction, and commissioning of ICT, ELV, and AV systems.
- Technical training or certifications in leading ICT, ELV, and AV systems.
- Expert knowledge of industry standards, practices, techniques, procedures, codes, and regulations.
- Knowledge of QS and QC processes.
- Good understanding of networks, installation, testing, commissioning, and system integration.
- Experience in basic network implementation, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in construction management and project execution processes.
- Knowledge of local codes of practice and international standards for design implementation.
