Senior Analyst - Regional Controlling

This role plays a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, implementing robust financial controls, and facilitating external audits for holding companies. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Consolidation:
- Assist in the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports for the Real Estate division.
- Support the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for Holding companies.
- Collaborate with business units to gather budget inputs and assumptions.
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and insights during the audit process.
- Track and manage audit findings, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Process Optimization & Automation:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial reporting and consolidation processes.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement process automation solutions.
- Maintain user guides and documentation for financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Support to Regional Financial Controller:
- Assist the Regional Financial Controller with other tasks as assigned.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting, GL management, and audit management.
- Previous experience within the Real Estate industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
