Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Group is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its client-side MEP team in Dubai. The role involves overseeing electrical power and ELV systems across a wide range of real estate projects, including malls, residential complexes, luxury housing, hotels, and commercial facilities. As the technical representative, you will manage consultants and contractors, review technical submissions, and ensure project delivery meets the highest quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

Core Duties
* Provide technical input during project briefing, design, and delivery for electrical engineering elements
* Review concept, schematic, and detailed designs to ensure compliance with business requirements and project standards
* Prepare formal reviews, approval reports, and oversee consultant and contractor responses
* Support the project team in resolving site issues, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
* Monitor project schedules, milestones, and initiate corrective measures to maintain timelines
* Collaborate with cost teams to monitor budgets, assess variations, and prepare estimates
* Conduct value engineering exercises to balance cost, quality, and lifecycle efficiency
* Contribute to contract and tender documentation, including technical assessments of consultant and contractor proposals
* Maintain accurate records and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive project reporting
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
* At least 15 years of total work experience, including 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles
* 10+ years of managing large, complex real estate projects from design through delivery
* Strong knowledge of LV, MV, HV, power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems
* Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulatory compliance
* Skilled in reviewing design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
