What Does a Senior Interior Designer Do at Azizi?
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead the entire design process—from initial concept through to construction documentation—ensuring aesthetic excellence, technical precision, and seamless coordination across disciplines. You’ll manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality interiors that reflect Azizi’s development standards.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead design development across all phases, including concept creation, schematic design, detailed drawings, and IFC documentation
- Create functional and visually striking interior design solutions tailored to residential project requirements
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape teams to integrate interior concepts with overall building design
- Guide and mentor junior designers to ensure consistent quality and creativity
- Prepare and present design concepts, mood boards, 3D visuals, and finishes to stakeholders
- Ensure all designs align with local building codes, regulatory guidelines, and sustainability benchmarks
- Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth on-site implementation
- Manage project timelines and maintain budget control while delivering design excellence
What Skills and Experience Are Required?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of interior design experience, preferably within the UAE
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end residential and hospitality project work
- Proven experience in delivering full-scale design packages and managing multiple concurrent projects
Skills:
