Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Overview:
Azizi Developments is looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design 360 Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing complex MEP systems for high-end luxury residential and hospitality projects. Your expertise in mechanical design, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills will be crucial in delivering innovative and value-driven real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design complete Mechanical Systems including Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Smoke Control, Fire Protection, LPG storage and distribution, Drainage, and Water systems for luxury residential projects.
- Develop Concept Design Documents and ensure detailed design accuracy and compliance with Azizi standards.
- Efficiently calculate building cooling loads using Authority Approved software.
- Manage CAD & BIM technical specialists by providing technical guidance and ensuring accurate design layouts.
- Coordinate with Submittal Engineers to guarantee that all submitted documents meet the respective Authorities’ requirements.
- Maintain organized records of all Mechanical documents submitted for regulatory approvals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project development and successful project delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in Mechanical Design with reputed PMCs in the Middle East.
- Proven project portfolio including Highrise, Luxury Residential, Hospitality, or Mixed-Use Development projects in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of Dubai-related Authorities such as DEWA, Trakhees, and other regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in HAP, Duct design, Pipe design, Selection software, AutoCAD, and MS Office package.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
