Senior Structural Design Engineer
Job Overview:
Azizi Developments is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our Design 360 Studio in Dubai. This role requires leading and managing structural design teams, ensuring structural integrity, compliance with international and local codes, and obtaining necessary authority approvals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing high-rise structures and expertise in engineering software for structural analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise structural design teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and overall leadership
- Perform full structural design, including stability analysis, foundation design, and conventional reinforced concrete slab designs
- Develop structural models using software and conduct manual calculations for forces, stresses, and strain analysis due to environmental and mechanical factors such as wind, temperature variations, and seismic activity
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other consultants to ensure structural designs align with the overall project vision
- Ensure all structural designs comply with international and local building codes and obtain necessary authority approvals
- Implement in-house quality assurance (QA/QC) programs to ensure high-quality structural design outputs
- Review and monitor structural work performed by sub-consultants or specialty engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Provide structural engineering support to project site teams, resolving construction-related issues to facilitate successful project execution
- Conduct thorough design reviews to verify quality standards and compliance with Azizi Developments\' structural requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 12 years of structural design experience, particularly in high-rise tower projects
- Expertise in structural analysis and design software, including ETABS, SAFE, SAP, PROKON, RAM Concept, and ADAPT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
