Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our dynamic team at Azizi Developments in Dubai. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading the technical development of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with design intent, authority standards, and constructability. You will work closely with stakeholders, mentor teams, and maintain high-quality technical documentation throughout all design stages.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development of projects across all design stages, focusing on authority submissions and compliance.
- Review and approve detailed design drawings, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and constructability.
- Coordinate technical aspects with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design and construction challenges effectively.
- Ensure all technical documentation adheres to local authority codes, standards, and international best practices.
- Demonstrate knowledge of major international codes (e.g., IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE) to guide technical compliance.
- Manage and mentor technical design teams to achieve project objectives while fostering professional growth.
- Conduct regular reviews to maintain design quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the Lead Technical Architect to align with project targets and design compliance requirements.
- Safeguard the design intent, ensuring the final technical output aligns with the original creative vision.
- Handle local authority submissions, including compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of DTCM, FLS Code, FPA, IPC, and the ability to read and interpret contracts.
- Proven experience working on a minimum of 4 city hotel projects.
- Certification in BIM workflows preferred.
- Dubai Municipality Registration preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
