Azizi Developments is looking for a detail-driven and experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our expanding Design 360 Studio in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for architectural precision, hospitality project experience, and deep knowledge of UAE authority compliance and construction codes.

What Does a Senior Technical Architect Do?
A Senior Technical Architect leads the technical development of architectural designs through all project phases. At Azizi, this includes managing authority submissions, ensuring design compliance, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating across disciplines to deliver exceptional hospitality projects aligned with creative vision and local regulations.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead the technical execution of architectural designs from concept through construction
- Review, approve, and refine detailed design drawings and authority submission documents
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, DTCM, FLS Code, FPA, IPC, and other local authority requirements
- Apply knowledge of international standards such as IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE to ensure global best practices
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and technical issues
- Maintain and safeguard design intent throughout all stages of development
- Mentor and support junior technical architects and CAD teams
- Submit and manage authority documentation, ensuring timely approvals
- Oversee design quality, documentation accuracy, and code adherence
What Skills and Qualifications Are Required?
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in architectural technical roles
- Proven experience with at least 4 completed city hotel projects
- Strong understanding of Dubai’s construction regulations and authority processes
Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and certification preferred
- Dubai Municipality registration is a strong advantage
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication abilities
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to delivering compliant, high-quality output
