Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Specification Writer to join our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the full specifications production in collaboration with Architects and Engineers. You will be responsible for quality control of overall specifications and ensuring successful final delivery within scheduled milestones as per Azizi Developments standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full specification production, providing clear guidance, feedback, and support to Architectural and Engineering teams.
- Manage, plan, and implement specifications delivery strategy while staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Present progress, status, and weekly/monthly reports to the line manager.
- Ensure all project specifications are completed within scheduled timelines and as per Azizi Developments Standards.
- Manage and oversee the specifications QA/QC review with all internal/external disciplines.
- Collaborate and ensure coordination with cross-functional teams such as specialists, sub-consultants, procurement, and other Azizi departments.
- Maintain a positive working environment and encourage continuous team development.
- Work closely with the line manager to understand the projects’ design brief and objectives.
- Manage and review all technical design packages developed by in-house disciplines and external sub-consultants to integrate all required specifications.
- Address and report any issues or potential delays to the line manager promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with the line manager, design delivery team, and stakeholders to review progress and manage expectations.
- Contribute to team development and mentoring to foster a creative and efficient design delivery environment.
- Maintain Master Specifications updates as per current market trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in producing CSI Master format specifications for high-end and innovative residential and mixed-use projects.
- Up-to-date knowledge of material descriptions, performance standards, and construction methods.
- Positive attitude and high integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management.
- Team collaboration and leadership abilities.
