Role Context
This position ensures accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise within the store. It supports retail teams by maintaining organized stockrooms, tracking inventory movement, and ensuring products are available for sales at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and physically verify incoming merchandise against system records
* Inspect product quality and report damaged or incorrect items to store management
* Organize and store products in the stockroom following standard procedures
* Tag new stock and handle returns as per operational guidelines
* Support sales team by replenishing shelves and maintaining stock availability
* Maintain accurate records of stock inward and outward movements
* Assist in regular stock counts and inventory audits
* Identify missing price tags and report discrepancies
* Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness in storage areas
* Follow store security procedures to prevent stock loss
Ideal Profile
* 1 to 3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory, or retail operations
* Basic understanding of stock handling and inventory processes
* Physically fit and capable of handling manual stock movement
* Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy
