Job Overview
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our projects. You will be responsible for preparing structural shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and designing temporary works and formwork solutions. This role requires strong technical proficiency and experience within a contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Structural Shop Drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Design Temporary Works & Formwork solutions to support construction activities.
- Conduct structural analysis using software such as SAP2000 and STAAD.Pro.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Building Codes & Regulations in all structural designs.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver structurally sound solutions.
- Review and approve structural calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved structural designs.
- Address technical queries and provide engineering support during construction phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Structural Engineer with an Unlimited License.
- Minimum X years of experience in structural engineering within a contracting background.
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis software including SAP2000 and STAAD.Pro.
- Extensive knowledge of Temporary Works & Formwork Design.
- In-depth understanding of UAE Building Codes & Regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
