The Mathematics Expert will create and review advanced academic content used to train and evaluate AI models. Assignments may involve undergraduate and graduate mathematics, formal proofs, abstract concepts, applied problem-solving, derivations, and the assessment of model-generated solutions.
Each response must demonstrate correct methodology, logical completeness, appropriate notation, and clear mathematical communication. The expert will help establish reference-quality answers that show AI systems how difficult mathematical questions should be interpreted, solved, verified, and explained.
Key Responsibilities
* Solve complex mathematics prompts across undergraduate and graduate curricula.
* Develop complete solutions that clearly show assumptions, definitions, calculations, proofs, and conclusions.
* Produce golden responses that demonstrate subject mastery and rigorous mathematical reasoning.
* Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, completeness, relevance, and logical consistency.
* Identify invalid assumptions, missing proof steps, calculation errors, notation problems, and unsupported conclusions.
* Refine draft solutions to improve accuracy, structure, clarity, and educational value.
* Analyze advanced proofs and determine whether each inference is mathematically justified.
* Translate abstract concepts into accessible explanations without weakening technical precision.
* Compare alternative solution methods and explain their advantages, limitations, and applicability.
* Verify algebraic manipulations, symbolic expressions, numerical results, and final answers.
* Apply appropriate mathematical notation and formatting consistently.
* Create examples, counterexamples, derivations, and explanatory notes when required.
* Review content involving pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, and related quantitative disciplines.
* Collaborate asynchronously with mathematicians, reviewers, trainers, and project stakeholders.
* Incorporate iterative feedback while preserving mathematical correctness.
* Recommend improvements to project guidelines, response standards, and content workflows.
* Document ambiguous cases, recurring model errors, and challenging evaluation decisions.

* PhD in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative discipline from an accredited institution.
