Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, corridors, back-of-house areas, and assigned hotel facilities.
* Ensure all rooms and public spaces meet hotel cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest comfort standards.
* Lead housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, cleaners, linen staff, and public area team members during daily operations.
* Plan staff duty schedules, shift allocations, room assignments, and daily cleaning priorities based on hotel occupancy and guest needs.
* Inspect guest rooms and service areas to ensure cleaning quality, maintenance standards, linen setup, amenities, and room readiness.
* Coordinate with front office for room status, check-ins, check-outs, VIP rooms, guest requests, and priority cleaning requirements.
* Work with maintenance teams to report and follow up on room defects, repairs, safety concerns, and equipment issues.
* Control housekeeping supplies, linen, guest amenities, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and department inventory.
* Train housekeeping staff on room cleaning procedures, grooming, guest privacy, hygiene standards, safety rules, and hotel service expectations.
* Handle guest complaints and housekeeping-related concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
* Maintain housekeeping reports, room inspection records, lost and found records, linen counts, inventory logs, and staff performance notes.
* Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene procedures, safety standards, and housekeeping operating guidelines.
* Support cost control by monitoring usage of supplies, reducing wastage, and improving department productivity.
Ideal Profile
* Indian male candidate required.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in the same position.
* Previous experience in 4 star or 5 star hotels is required.
* Good English speaking skills are required.
* Young, active, presentable, and professional personality.
* Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, room management, linen control, staff supervision, and guest service standards.
* Ability to lead housekeeping teams and maintain discipline during busy hotel operations.
