Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily maintenance activities across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, kitchen areas, laundry, and hotel facilities.
* Coordinate repair and maintenance work for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, water systems, doors, locks, furniture, and general hotel equipment.
* Assign duties to technicians and maintenance staff based on daily work orders, guest requests, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
* Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure quality, safety, and proper functioning of hotel systems.
* Respond quickly to maintenance issues reported by front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, laundry, and other hotel departments.
* Support preventive maintenance plans to reduce breakdowns and keep rooms, equipment, and public areas ready for operation.
* Monitor tools, spare parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies to ensure proper use and availability.
* Report major defects, safety risks, equipment failures, and repair needs to the Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager.
* Maintain daily work records, maintenance logs, inspection reports, repair updates, and shift handover notes.
* Ensure all work is completed according to hotel safety procedures, hygiene standards, and operational requirements.
* Guide technicians on safe work practices, proper use of tools, and professional behavior in guest areas.
* Support smooth hotel operations by ensuring maintenance requests are handled on time and with minimal disruption to guests.
Ideal Profile
* Indian male candidate required.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in the same position.
* Previous experience in 4 star or 5 star hotels is required.
* Good English speaking skills are required.
* Young, active, presentable, and responsible personality.
* Strong knowledge of hotel maintenance operations, engineering support, preventive maintenance, and facility repair work.
* Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil, carpentry, and general equipment maintenance.
* Ability to supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate daily work priorities.
* Good communication, reporting, organization, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to work under pressure and respond to urgent hotel maintenance issues.
