Advanced Analytics Director - Data Strategy and Intelligence
Position Overview
Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment is seeking a visionary Advanced Analytics Director to lead enterprise-wide analytics transformation at its Dubai Head Office. This role is responsible for building and scaling a high-impact analytics function, turning customer and operational data into strategic intelligence. By integrating advanced modeling, AI-driven solutions, and data storytelling, the Director will accelerate growth, optimize product experiences, and influence executive decisions across MAF’s entertainment verticals.

Key Focus Areas
* Define and drive the long-term analytics vision, aligning all data initiatives with business strategy and measurable KPIs
* Translate complex analytics into clear, decision-ready insights for executive and cross-functional stakeholders
* Spearhead predictive modeling, regression analysis, segmentation, and advanced ML initiatives to support customer personalization and business forecasting
* Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and AI tools through agile proof-of-concepts to maintain MAF’s competitive edge
* Establish and oversee scalable frameworks for funnel performance, feature adoption, and digital product optimization
* Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure that all analytics deliverables are actionable and aligned with corporate goals
* Build robust ecosystems to benchmark competitive performance, market shifts, and channel ROI
* Identify data-driven growth opportunities, track ROI of strategic initiatives, and elevate resource allocation effectiveness
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 15 years of experience in data science, analytics, or digital transformation, with at least 5 years in executive leadership
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline
* Deep expertise in building customer intelligence platforms, analytical frameworks, and performance dashboards
* Demonstrated success in managing and scaling high-performing analytics teams in fast-paced digital or entertainment environments
* Advanced knowledge of tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, and cloud-based analytics platforms
* Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement, able to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
