Position Overview
GMG is hiring an experienced Allocation Executive to join its Sports Division in Dubai. The role involves overseeing the complete product allocation process to ensure optimal stock distribution across GMG’s retail network. The successful candidate will balance inventory levels, align stock flow with consumer demand, and execute strategic merchandising plans that support the company’s operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end allocation process for GMG’s Sports Division, analyzing sales data to optimize product distribution across stores.
* Collaborate with merchandising and planning teams to align stock levels with sales performance, seasonal trends, and business objectives.
* Monitor inventory to ensure timely replenishment of best-selling products and efficient redistribution of underperforming stock.
* Generate analytical reports to measure sales, stock performance, and allocation efficiency.
* Implement and refine GMG’s allocation strategies based on market behavior and in-store performance.
* Support promotional, markdown, and clearance activities to optimize inventory turnover.
* Coordinate closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth and timely product flow.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with internal allocation policies.
* Provide insights to management to support planning, merchandising, and buying decisions.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* 4–6 years of relevant experience in product allocation, inventory management, or retail merchandising.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail systems.
* Experience in sports or lifestyle retail preferred.
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
* Knowledge of demand planning, replenishment, and product lifecycle management.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
