Position Overview
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, ensure operational compliance, and lead a team that delivers exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for daily store operations in the Store Manager’s absence, helping to ensure seamless business continuity and a customer-first approach.
What You’ll Do
* Lead and motivate the store team to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets
* Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary
* Monitor and drive KPI achievement through proactive floor leadership and coaching
* Coordinate brand promotions, visual merchandising, and marketing campaigns with relevant support teams
* Manage store operations and workforce scheduling, especially during the Store Manager’s absence
* Enforce stock control measures, manage inventory processes, and support company compliance initiatives
* Liaise with internal audit and compliance teams for stocktaking, policy updates, and operational improvements
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or High School Certificate required; retail-specific qualifications are a plus
* 4–5 years of proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role
* Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive store success
* Energetic, team-oriented, and capable of handling fast-paced retail environments
