The Assistant Store Supervisor plays a critical role in managing store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless coordination between inventory, staff, and order fulfillment processes. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily store operations including staff coordination, stock handling, and order processing during assigned shifts
* Support the Store Supervisor in managing shift schedules, team performance, and operational workflows
* Handle inbound receiving by verifying deliveries and ensuring compliance with inventory policies
* Manage stock replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or excess
* Monitor inventory processes including stock counts and cycle audits to ensure accuracy
* Supervise picking and packing of customer orders to ensure timely and error-free deliveries
* Ensure proper implementation of hygiene, safety, and operational standards within the store
* Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity
Ideal Profile
* 3 to 5 years of experience in supermarket, grocery, or food retail operations
* Strong understanding of store operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment
* Ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams
* Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities
* Familiarity with stock management systems and retail processes
* Fluent English required; Arabic is an added advantage
