Role Context

This role is essential for maintaining financial accuracy, operational transparency, and long-term business performance across multiple retail business units. The selected professional will support senior leadership with reliable reporting, strong compliance controls, and strategic financial planning while helping improve efficiency and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee preparation of management reports and ensure accurate financial planning through effective reporting tools
* Review financial reports and consolidations to ensure results reflect true company performance and financial position
* Monitor financial risks, impairments, and reporting issues that may affect operations and profitability
* Ensure monthly consolidation of accounting results across all country business units
* Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans aligned with approved financial targets
* Manage General Ledger, treasury, fixed assets, project accounting, and balance sheet reviews
* Supervise supplier payment terms, treasury compliance, and insurance-related financial activities
* Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, financial procedures, internal controls, and company policies
* Drive tax optimization initiatives and continuous process improvement across finance operations
* Support team performance, mentoring, training, and implementation of finance policies and procedures

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline
* Minimum 6 years of relevant finance experience with at least 3 years in retail
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance standards
* Experience managing audits, month-end closing, and year-end financial processes
* Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Emirati talent preferred for this position
