What Are the Main Duties of a Beauty Specialist in Dubai?

Key Responsibilities
Makeup Consultation and Application
- Conduct one-on-one makeup consultations and makeovers
- Provide beauty tips, style preferences, and product recommendations
- Perform color matching, skin type assessments, and product demonstrations
Sales and Customer Service
- Offer professional advice on skincare and beauty products
- Achieve monthly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling
- Handle customer queries and ensure excellent after-sales follow-up
- Build strong relationships and customer loyalty through superior service
Store Merchandising and Stock Control
- Maintain planogram integrity and merchandising standards
- Ensure availability of hero products, exclusive launches, and promo items
- Monitor product expiry dates and manage stock replenishments
- Keep makeup tools clean, sanitized, and ready for demonstrations
Operational and Team Support
- Submit sales trackers and performance updates to the Store Manager
- Suggest new SKU introductions based on customer feedback
- Recommend in-store activities like makeovers and beauty workshops
- Train junior team members and contribute to team development initiatives
What Qualifications and Experience Are Required?
- Certification or diploma in makeup artistry, cosmetology, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in beauty retail or makeup consultation
- In-depth knowledge of cosmetic products, skincare, and Middle Eastern beauty trends
- Strong command of customer service and consultative selling techniques
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and meet sales targets

- Artistic flair with excellent makeup application skills
- Retail operational knowledge including stock handling and POS systems
