Al-Futtaim is hiring an experienced Café Assistant in Dubai to support our food and beverage retail operations. This hands-on role is focused on delivering top-tier hospitality, hygiene standards, and customer experience across fresh counters and café services. **Core Duties**
* Maintain fresh food counter standards throughout the day using hygiene and checklist protocols
* Prepare products for customers with attention to presentation and food safety
* Monitor equipment, report faults, and ensure clean-as-you-go practices are followed
* Promote and upsell café offerings including take-away and seasonal product orders
* Educate customers about M&S F and B items including nutritional value and unique selling points
* Track stock levels, manage waste logs, and ensure proper product rotation and replenishment
* Assist with stock counts and bi-weekly inventory accuracy
* Uphold all food safety, ticketing, cold chain, and health compliance procedures
**Candidate Requirements**
* High school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred)
* 4–5 years of experience in food and beverage operations, preferably retail-based
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* F and B hygiene certification required
* Physically fit; must be able to stand for long hours and handle stock movement
