Job Overview
The Certified Energy Auditor will lead detailed energy audits, propose and validate energy conservation measures, and oversee sustainability initiatives that align with client goals and regulatory standards. The role involves team mentoring, post-implementation tracking, and collaboration with engineering and operational stakeholders to achieve energy-saving targets and maintain compliance with industry frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead energy audits across industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities
* Analyze utility data and identify opportunities for energy conservation
* Prepare technical audit reports, financial assessments, and action plans
* Manage multiple energy efficiency projects from audit to execution
* Monitor energy savings and prepare measurement and verification documentation
* Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams on sustainable energy solutions
* Train junior auditors and promote energy awareness across the business
* Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 50001, LEED, and ASHRAE protocols
* Participate in developing recycling, decarbonization, and net-zero strategies
* Oversee risk assessments, safety procedures, and regulatory adherence during site activities

Reporting & MIS

* Maintain audit logs, savings validation records, and project progress reports
* Support management with data-driven insights and recommendations

Financial Management

* Conduct financial analysis of retrofit and energy projects
* Assist in grant applications or proposals for project funding

Governance & Standards

* Ensure full compliance with energy regulations, environmental laws, and HSE protocols
* Integrate sustainability into facility operations through policy and training

Job Requirements

* Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field
* Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) from a recognized institution (e.g., AEE)
* 5–6 years of hands-on experience in energy auditing, retrofit planning, or sustainability consulting
* Proficient in energy modeling tools, data analytics, and audit software
* Knowledge of HVAC, lighting systems, building automation, and renewable energy tech
* Familiarity with ISO 50001, LEED, and performance contracting standards
* Strong communication, leadership, and report-writing skills
