Customer Service Associate | Retail | Marks & Spencer
The Customer Service Associate plays a key role in delivering an outstanding shopping experience by assisting customers, driving sales, and ensuring store operations run smoothly. This role involves engaging with customers, maintaining store standards, and performing operational tasks as assigned by the store management team.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude upon entering the store.
- Provide relevant product information and assist customers in making informed purchases.
- Ensure fitting rooms are clean, organized, and efficiently managed.
- Process transactions at the cash register, offer gift card options, and update customer records.
- Engage with customers to promote sales, offer recommendations, and provide excellent service.
- Monitor stock levels, participate in inventory counts, and replenish merchandise as needed.
- Support visual merchandising efforts by maintaining product displays and signage.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with retail standards.
- Participate in store meetings, training sessions, and operational tasks as required.
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 4-5 years of experience in the fashion retail industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including stock replenishment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and helpful approach.
- Strong sales skills and ability to meet or exceed targets.
