Job Overview
The Data Network Engineer will be responsible for post-sales implementation, monitoring, and technical support of complex ICT and network solutions across customer environments. This includes managing routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls while ensuring system performance, reliability, and 24/7 support readiness. The role also involves customer training and proactive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Implement and configure network equipment including switches, routers, wireless controllers, load balancers, and firewalls
* Support post-sales deployments as per SLA with customers, ensuring adherence to design parameters
* Conduct advanced diagnostics and ongoing monitoring of data network infrastructure
* Manage incident and change activities related to break/fix and scheduled upgrades
* Perform system updates including patches, hotfixes, and firmware upgrades
* Deliver customer training and ensure compliance with project scope, timelines, and quality
* Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams for solution delivery
* Ensure 24x7 technical readiness and timely resolution of service tickets
* Contribute to solution documentation, health checks, and preventive maintenance

Required Skills and Experience

* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise data networking, routing/switching, and firewall/security systems
* Valid and current **CCIE Certification** is mandatory
* Proven experience with Cisco, Aruba, Alcatel Lucent, and Nokia network infrastructure
* Expertise in network protocols: IPSEC, OSPF, VRRP, IGMP, HSRP, 802.11, STP, QoS
* Strong knowledge of the OSI model, TCP/IP stack, DNS, DHCP, and WAN technologies
* Proficient in troubleshooting tools and network monitoring systems
* Excellent communication, customer handling, and incident resolution skills

Education and Certifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecom, IT, or Computer Science
* CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) – mandatory
* Additional certifications in Fortinet, HP, or Aruba are a plus
