Job Overview
The successful candidate will use advanced analytics, AI, and generative technologies to solve complex problems in project planning, material forecasting, contract analysis, and delay prediction. This includes working with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical models and scalable AI applications across construction and contracting environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze data from construction projects to forecast delays, material demand, and costs
* Build machine learning models for predictive scheduling and resource allocation
* Develop and deploy Gen AI tools for contract summarization and bid proposal automation
* Apply NLP techniques to extract and process information from documents
* Collaborate with project teams to align AI solutions with operational needs
* Build real-time decision-making tools for equipment usage and workforce planning
* Deploy models using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Present findings through clear visual reports and impact dashboards
* Ensure data quality, security, and scalability of deployed AI models
Reporting & MIS
* Generate reports on AI model performance, prediction accuracy, and operational impact
* Monitor deployed tools and recommend enhancements based on business feedback
Financial Management
* Contribute to cost optimization in material procurement, resource utilization, and project delays
* Support commercial teams with AI tools that improve bid efficiency and compliance
Governance & Standards
* Follow data privacy, quality assurance, and cloud governance policies
* Integrate AI models within enterprise-grade construction tech platforms securely
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, AI, Statistics, or similar (Master’s preferred)
* At least 7 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics
* Proficiency in Python or R and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
* Experience with NLP, GPT-based APIs, Langchain, and document summarization
* Strong understanding of algorithms like random forest, gradient boosting, and neural networks
* Familiarity with PCA, feature engineering, and statistical testing
* Hands-on experience with SQL and cloud-based AI deployments
* Strong business acumen in contracting or construction industries
