Deputy Store Manager

About the Role
Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle is seeking a proactive and results-driven Deputy Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations. This role involves driving sales, leading store teams, ensuring compliance with company policies, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Deputy Store Manager will also be responsible for managing store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring business continuity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with brand and company standards.
- Drive sales performance by implementing strategies to enhance revenue and achieve KPIs.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams, including Marketing, Buying, and Planning, to optimize sales and inventory management.
- Oversee sales promotions and brand activities, ensuring clear communication with support teams for maximum impact.
- Monitor stock levels and analyze sales trends to optimize inventory, improve product performance, and increase profitability.
- Support training, coaching, and development of store staff to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
- Ensure seamless store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, handling any disruptions effectively.
- Implement and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures to minimize stock loss and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Diploma or high school certificate (qualification in Retail Management or related field is an advantage).
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in retail, with managerial or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams.
- Excellent understanding of customer service principles and retail operations.
- Strong analytical skills to track sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
